- Invocations are usually given by a pack official, a
Cub Scout or a clergyman.
-
- Philmont Grace
- For food, for raiment
- For life, for opportunity
- For friendship and fellowship
- We thank thee, O Lord.
-
- Our Heavenly Father, look down on us this evening
as we gather together in the Spirit of Scouting to celebrate its
founding. Bless these parents assembled and bless their sons
as they go forward in Akela's path.
-
- Bless us, God, our Father, as we partake of this
bountiful feast. Let us be ever mindful that we, as Americans,
enjoy freedom and privileges of which people in some nations can
only dream of. Bless too, these Cub Scouts, their families,
and their leaders assembled here this evening for in their hands lie
our hopes for continued freedom in our future.
-
- Our God and God of our fathers. We gather as
loyal members of our Cub Scout Pack and we pray for thy
blessing. Give us the vision to see our duty and the courage
to perform it. Teach us to work together in the spirit of
brotherhood so that we are true to Thee who art the Father of
all. Guide us and guard us so that we shall be faithful sons
of the righteous God who is from everlasting to everlasting.
-
- Our dear Heavenly Father, we ask Your blessing on
the families in our Cub Scout pack. We ask a special blessing
on each Cub Scout and WEBELOS Scout. Guide their steps as they
grow into men, and help them as they do their duty to You and to
their country. Bless our food and the people who have prepared
it. Amen.
-
- Oh Lord, that I may do my best,
- I come to you in prayer.
- Help me to help others everyday,
- And teach me to be square.
- To honor father and mother,
- And obey the Cub Law too.
- All this I ask, that I may be,
- A loyal Cub Scout, true.
- Amen
-
- Dear God. Please bless our Pack especially
this day when we are celebrating our birthday. Bless all Cub
Scouts everywhere. Bless all boys and men who have been Cub
Scouts in the past, wherever they are now. May they always
remember their Cub Scout Promise and do their best to serve you, as
we are trying to do. Bless all who are members of our Pack and
help us to be worthy Cub Scouts, not only of this pack, but of the
worldwide brotherhood of Scouting. Amen
-
- We fold our hands and bow our heads, and thank Thee
Lord for daily bread, for home and school and family. We give
thanks, O Lord, to Thee. Teach us to be both brave and
true. And bless our banquet, Gold and Blue.
