Needed: 1 large blue candle, 3 gold candles, 1 small candle for each adult, Small squares of construction paper to catch wax.

Personnel: Three key people of the Pack (Cubmaster, Committee Chairman, Den Leader Coach, and Den Leaders.

Cubmaster: "Today a lot of people put a great deal of effort into sharing their knowledge with you, but it will be a complete waste of time unless you put it to use.   When we impart our knowledge with others, we are only lighting their candles from the five of our own, without depriving ourselves of any of the brilliance the flame possesses.  If you possess knowledge and wish to increase its power, let others light their candles from it.  Refuse to share it and the light that is showing these boys the way of Scouting will go out, leaving them in darkness."

The Committee Chairman and the Den Leader Coach will each light their candles from the Spirit of Scouting candle, they in turn will share it with the Den Leaders and their Den parents.

"One candle by itself does not give much brightness to the room, but when we share our knowledge --(pause)-- the room suddenly becomes illuminated with warmth and friendship; thus guiding boys to a bright new future."

"Will you all rise now for the Scouts Benediction?"

"Now may the Great Master of all Scouts be with us until we meet again."
